Focus and Scope
EDUCARE Journal of Primary Education is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on inclusive and integrative primary education grounded in Islamic values, with particular emphasis on the critical analysis of educational policies, curricula, pedagogical practices, and school culture in addressing diversity and equity. The journal publishes empirical research, conceptual studies, and critical reviews that connect global educational theories with local and faith-based educational practices, especially within the contexts of Islamic primary schools (madrasah ibtidaiyah) and general primary education.
The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Inclusive primary education grounded in Islamic values in primary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah
- Child-friendly curricula, pedagogy, and school culture promoting equity and inclusion
- Teacher professionalism, leadership, and the use of technology in inclusive education
- Ecotheology, religious moderation, and Islamic character education in primary education
Through an integrative approach, EDUCARE Journal of Primary Education serves as an academic platform for researchers, educators, and policymakers to advance inclusive and integrative primary education grounded in Islamic values by strengthening educational policies, curricula, pedagogical practices, and equitable, diversity-responsive school cultures at local, national, and global levels.
